League of Legends Review


League of Legends is one of the most popular games in the gaming community right now.  It is an exclusive to PC gamers, and has had major success with its multiplayer online battle arena game style.  I would give this fantastic game a 10/10 recommendation to any gamer who enjoys a game that challenges strategy, teamwork, and an individual's skill level.  League of Legends is an intense, strategic, skillful, team-centered game that requires players to implement several levels of strategy to become victorious.  There are over one hundred characters called "champions" that each team of five players get to choose from.  Each of these champions have their own abilities that are unique to themselves, and based off of those abilities, teams are able to build team compositions that able to combine damage, crowd control, impaired movement, and healing abilities.  I have played this game for six years and have continued to find ways to be drawn to this spectacular game.  This game takes an incredible amount of time to master, those who have are fortunate enough to play in the professional leagues throughout the world.  This game has impacted the entire world as one of the most played multiplayer games in the world.  Every November, there is an event titled, League Championship Series Worlds (or LCS Worlds for short), this event is where the best of the best compete to discover who will ascend to the top and claim the rightfully place as champions of the world.  This game challenges individuals and teams to find new ways to overcome their opponents.  The game developers at Riot continue to release new updates and patches that require players and teams to find new ways to play the game.  Players must adapt to the most recent updates to secure objectives, build itemization, create new team compositions and overcome opponents.

Hardstuck Silver in League of Legends?

There is a point in time in League of Legends where all hope seems to be lost and you're slowly but surely creeping into elo hell.  At one point or another, everyone seems to settle at a plateau in League of Legends where their rank isn't increasing.  I struggled with this for several seasons of League of Legends.  I felt like no matter what I could do to achieve Gold Tier, it was not working.  My goal was to try to at least reach Gold Tier, just for the season rewards.  I tried to play every single role available and still had no success of climbing the ladder.  Fortunately,  I found that playing champions like Morgana(mid-lane), Volibear(top-lane), and Pyke(jungle) were keys to my success.  Disclaimer, some of my choices (most of them probably) were not geared towards the current meta.  I played champions I knew how to play, and new how to be successful with them.  By familiarizing myself with optimal items, I was able to use champions effectively the way I knew how to pl

Video games have tremendously adapted over the last few decades.  In just a short amount of time video games have evolved from simple eight bit arcade games to high resolution, extremely detailed, virtual phenomenons.  Video games are part of modern day culture, and they will continue to be as developers continue to break technological barriers.
