Looking Back

League of Legends is one of my top played games since I have started playing video games.  This game requires a particular set of skill with an immense knowledge of the game and it's attributes.  Below are several blogs that I have posted that highlight many factors of this game that have allowed me to invest many resources into this spectacular game.


1. League of Legends Review
League of Legends is an exclusive to PC gamers, and has had major success with it's multiplayer online battle arena game style.  There are over one hundred characters available to play called "champions."  Each of these champions have their own abilities that are unique to themselves, and teams are able to build compositions around those abilities to best utilize them throughout a match of League of Legends.

2. Video Games Save Lives
There is peace and serenity when I step into a virtual world, it is like all my problems ceased to exist.  Video games saved my life.  In a way, I was able to tune out the rest of the world and plunge into a world of mystical powers, demonic forces, relentless enemies, and fierce competition.  Click the link above to find out more about how video games changed my life, particularly League of Legends.

3. The Future Is ESports
I personally enjoy watching the League of Legends eSports channel on Twitch when the LCS seasons are live.  There is a satisfying sensation when you hear analysts going into depth of the play by play actions that are happening right before your eyes.  Click the link to find out about the world of eSports.

4. Hardstuck Silver in League of Legends?
There is a point in time in League of Legends where all hope seems to be lost and you're slowly but surely creeping into elo hell.  At one point or another, everyone seems to settle at a plateau in League of Legends where their rank isn't increasing.  I struggled with this for several seasons of League of Legends.  Click on the Link to find out more tips on how to climb tiers in League of Legends.

Hardstuck Silver in League of Legends?

There is a point in time in League of Legends where all hope seems to be lost and you're slowly but surely creeping into elo hell.  At one point or another, everyone seems to settle at a plateau in League of Legends where their rank isn't increasing.  I struggled with this for several seasons of League of Legends.  I felt like no matter what I could do to achieve Gold Tier, it was not working.  My goal was to try to at least reach Gold Tier, just for the season rewards.  I tried to play every single role available and still had no success of climbing the ladder.  Fortunately,  I found that playing champions like Morgana(mid-lane), Volibear(top-lane), and Pyke(jungle) were keys to my success.  Disclaimer, some of my choices (most of them probably) were not geared towards the current meta.  I played champions I knew how to play, and new how to be successful with them.  By familiarizing myself with optimal items, I was able to use champions effectively the way I knew how to pl

The Future of Gaming

Video games have tremendously adapted over the last few decades.  In just a short amount of time video games have evolved from simple eight bit arcade games to high resolution, extremely detailed, virtual phenomenons.  Video games are part of modern day culture, and they will continue to be as developers continue to break technological barriers. Developers such as Epic Games have used the function of cross platform gaming, this allows players from Xbox, Playstation, and PC to play against one another.  The famous game, Fortnite, has been a cultural boom in the last year and other game developers are following their trend.  It is no secret that the game mode of battle royale is among the popular game types to play right now.  Games such as Apex Legends, Call of Duty, and Player Unknown Battlegrounds have utilized this feature to create a battle mode where a single player, or a team of players, enter a large area and search for resources to fight against the rest of the matchmaking lobby
